What We Believe
We believe in the full gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our aim is to "preach the inexhaustible riches of Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 3:8) and see people find fullness of life in God. Jesus said He came to give "life to the full until it is over-flowing" (John 10:10).
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe there is only one true God, the creator of heaven and earth, who created all of us in his image, to have a relationship with Him (Genesis 1:12, John 17:3).
We believe in His holiness, His unconditional love, and His goodness.
We believe that when Adam & Eve disobeyed God, in the Garden of Eden, this relationship was lost. Sin, sickness, death and judgement entered the world. Jesus came to pay the price for mankind’s rebellion in order to make us right with God, so that we could enjoy this relationship once again. (Romans 5:19,
1 Peter 2:24, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
The price Jesus paid was to die on the cross in our place. Three days later He rose again, victorious over the power of sin and death to decide our destiny. His sacrifice has provided freedom from the consequences of our sin and from the power of the enemy, the devil (1 Corinthians 15:54-57, Luck 10:19).
Anyone can be restored into fellowship with God through repenting of their sin, believing in what Jesus has done for them, and receiving Him as their Lord and Saviour.
This is a gift of God’s grace (Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8).
We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives within us, to enable us all to embrace our relationship with God and to live the life to which He now calls us (John 14:16-17).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that is poured out on believers, empowering us to be His witnesses and bring heaven to earth. We believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit to facilitate this
(John 16:7, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:7).
We believe that the bible is the authoritative Word of God, inspired by Him for the benefit of us all. It reveals God’s true nature, His will and purpose for our lives, the fullness of His gospel and who we now are, in Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12).
We believe the church is the hands and feet of Jesus, the body of Christ on earth. The church’s purpose is to glorify God and to declare His goodness, His grace and His love to the world (Colossians 1:18,
Luke 4:18-19).
If you do not have a relationship with God and have not trusted Jesus as your Saviour we would love to share with you, pray with you and help you discover this relationship that is available.
